Tad Walch

Tad Walch covers the LDS Church and the Church Education System, including BYU, BYU-Idaho and BYU-Hawaii. Tad has worked for the Deseret News for 10 years, serving as the Enterprise Team Editor, the City Editor and the Utah County Bureau Chief. Tad studied journalism at BYU, where he twice served as editor of the Daily Universe. He was a co-founder of Cougar Sports Magazine and served co-editor from 1993-1997. He worked as a sports reporter, sports editor, Olympics reporter and courts reporter at the Daily Herald from 1997-2003. Tad has lived for 28 years in Utah County, where he and his wife are raising five children.
